Karolinska Institutet (hereinafter "KI") hereby invites suppliers to submit tenders in this procurement of Metabolomics analysis. Karolinska Institutet (KI) is one of the world’s leading medical universities, renowned for its research and education in life sciences and medicine. At KI, the Department of Laboratory Medicine is actively engaged in cutting-edge biomedical research, with a strong emphasis on systems biology, translational medicine, and omics technologies. The need for advanced metabolomics analysis has become increasingly central to our research activities, particularly in projects focusing on disease mechanisms, biomarker discovery, and therapeutic response profiling. This procurement is being carried out to ensure continued access to high-quality, reproducible, and scalable metabolomics data acquirement. The purpose of this procurement is to secure a reliable supplier who can deliver comprehensive metabolomics services—including sample preparation, mass spectrometry-based analysis, and data processing—that meet the high scientific and quality standards required at KI. The goal is to enable robust data generation that contributes to high-impact publications and translational outcomes. By entering into this agreement, KI aims to streamline access to specialized analytical capabilities that are critical to our mission of improving human health through research and education. This procurement coves Metabolomics analysis (the Services), as specified in section 5. specification of requirements. The Services will be procured by the Department of Laboratory Medicine at KI.
