Serbia – Construction-related services – Supervision on Establishment of Regional Waste Management System for the City of Novi Sad and Municipalities of Bačka Palanka, Bački Petrovac, Beočin, Žabalj, Srbobran, Temerin and Vrbas

Integrated Solid Waste Management (ISWM) system for the Novi Sad waste management region shall be fully in compliance with the requirements of the European (EU) and Serbian legislation including the Circular Economy Package (CEP) adopted in June 2018. The Contractor will be required to act as “the Engineer” as specified in the FIDIC Conditions of Contract (Yellow Book) and comply with requirements prescribed by Serbian legislation, regarding Works Contracts and to provide assistance to the End Recipients and Final Beneficiary in the implementation of Supply Contracts. This service contract will help the development of the ISWM project through assistance to the Contracting Authority, Final Beneficiary and End Recipients, expertise and consulting regarding optimal coordination, effective supervision and project and site management of the following works: • Works contract, Lot 1: Construction of the Regional Waste Management Centre in the City of Novi Sad; • Works contract, Lot 2: Construction of the Transfer Stations in Municipalities Vrbas and Bačka Palanka.
