Iceland – Airport equipment – Renewal of Passenger and Transfer Screening Checkpoints

Overview Isavia is undertaking a comprehensive renewal of its security screening infrastructure to enhance passenger experience and operational efficiency. This project covers the modernization of the main passenger checkpoint as well as the transfer checkpoint, ensuring compliance with the latest industry standards and regulations. Scope of Work -Main Checkpoint Throughput: Minimum capacity of 2,000 passengers per hour. -Transfer Checkpoint Throughput: Minimum capacity of 400 passengers per hour. Included in Tender: -A long-term maintenance agreement with strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to guarantee system reliability and performance. -Provision of all equipment, related software, and infrastructure required for effective security screening of passengers, baggage, and personal items. -Full compliance with current industry regulations, standards, and certifications to ensure safety and regulatory adherence. Objectives -Improve passenger flow and minimize wait times. -Ensure robust security screening aligned with international best practices. -Establish a sustainable maintenance framework for long-term operational excellence.
