Iceland – Construction work – Mulitipurpose Sportfacilities building for the sportclub KR

Reykjavik City is planning a tender for mulitipurpose Sportfacilities for the sportclub KR at the clubs area this fall. The total size of the planned building is approximately 6.700 m², of which the size of the one floor sporthall is around 4.400 m², Indoor soccer will be practised on an artificial grass field and expected to be able to compete in 8-a-side football tournaments. In the sporthall annex, office spaces, a taekwondo room, meeting rooms and other spaces related to the building's activities are planned. There will be possible to practice and compete in various other sports. The main work components are: • Architectural design of the building. • Engineering design of the building • Earthwork • Concrete and/or steel structures • Exterior finishing • Interior finishing, including artificial grass and installation of fixed equipment • Installation and completion of all plumbing and electrical systems • Completion of the site by the sports hall
