Norway – Supervision of project and documentation – Contract for Marine Surveyor (U-864)

The Norwegian Coastal Administration, hereafter called the contracting authority, invites tenderers to an open tender contest for the procurement of a Marine Surveyor. The Norwegian Coastal Administration needs a representative who shall act on behalf of the Norwegian Coastal Administration on board a vessel for the examination of the refrigeration on the wreckage parts of U-864 and collection of mercury containers, if any. The assistance shall be independent and give the Norwegian Coastal Administration professional assessments of the situation. Marin Surveyor shall ensure that the contract specifications connected to the survey of the refrigeration for the wreckage parts of U-864 and collection of any mercury containers are to be followed. The Norwegian Coastal Administration has a separate project group that follows up the handling, and who will be the recipient of the information from the marine surveyor. The examination of the refrigeration of the wreckage parts of U-864 and admission of any mercury containers will be carried out by another company. The hired assistance must have relevant education and experience as a surveyor. The assistance shall result in a written final report from Marine Surveyor to the contracting authority.
