Norway – Environmental monitoring other than for construction – National monitoring of hops and day butterflies 2026-2030

Stocks of hops and day butterflies are monitored to document the condition and uncover changes over time. Data from the monitoring programme are indicators of the open lowland and forest ecosystems in the Nature Index for Norway, which is further included in the Ecological Condition Trade System. The monitoring programme also provides follow-up of the national pollinator strategy. Questions asked during the Christmas holiday will be answered 5 January 2026 at the earliest.
