Germany – Research and development services and related consultancy services – Project "DuckDB"

The subject of the contract is the open source component “DuckDB,” a database that enables data to be queried and analyzed directly within applications without resorting to external infrastructures, thus ensuring more efficient and secure data analysis. As part of this contract, several work packages will systematically analyze and remedy known vulnerabilities within the component, develop and expand targeted testing, and improve existing storage mechanisms with regard to data integrity. These measures serve the goal of making the “DuckDB” component, which is used in numerous systems across various industries, more secure, trustworthy, and robust overall in the long term.
