Switzerland – Radioactive-, toxic-, medical- and hazardous waste services – Dismantling of Alpha Laboratories

Within the scope of this tender, it is planned to dismantle the infrastructure of two alpha laboratories of the PSI hot laboratory (Hotlab), which was used for fuel research programs between 1979 and 2005 and is in a controlled area. The infrastructure mainly includes glove boxes and equipment for the treatment, preparation, and analysis of fuels. By dismantling these, the plant operator fulfils the obligations of the KEG and the KEV. The aim of the tender is to create a concept for the dismantling of this infrastructure, their installation and commissioning and to carry out the dismantling measures.
