Ireland – Architectural, construction, engineering and inspection services – NIAH SURVEY OF NORTH KERRY (RURAL) 2026

The project for tender is for the recording of 700 sites/structures/groups of structures in the above-described survey area. Some 663 sites/structures/groups of structures have been identified by the NIAH, and there is a further allowance of 37 sites/structures/groups of structures that may have been overlooked and which the Contractor may consider warrant inclusion in the survey. The 663 sites/structures/groups of structures include 21 sites/structures/groups of structures in previously published surveys or on the Kerry County Council Record of Protected Structures, that the NIAH considers no longer warrant a Regional Rating. These sites/structures/groups of structures will be recorded according to the "quick survey" methodology set out in the NIAH Handbook Edition July 2025. The "quick survey" methodology requires minimal resources and this should be reflected in a reduced price-per-record fee in the Tender Price.
