Norway – Provision of services to the community – Contact for co-operation between Norway and civil society in the recipient country of the EEA resources.

The procurement is connected to the management of EEA resources in the financing period 2021-2028. The main objective of the assignment is to establish a point of contact for cooperation between Norway and civil communities in the recipient country of the EEA resources. For the financing period 2021-2028, approx. 300 million euros shall be used in support of civil communities in the recipient countries. The 15 recipient countries are Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Croatia, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary. The management of the support for civil society under the EEA funds is organised through the establishment of independent funds in the recipient countries, which are managed daily by a local fund operator. The main objective of the assignment is to assist in establishing contact and facilitating co-operation between civil society in Norway and civil society in the recipient countries under the Civil Society Fund. In addition it is the purpose of informing Norwegian civil society about possibilities for cooperation in other programmes under the EEA financing schemes. The assignment will be valid from when the contract is signed until 31 December 2031, with an option for a one year extension. Options of 6 months can be taken up by the contracting authority a maximum of two times. The estimated value of the procurement is between NOK 11.5 million and NOK 15 million excluding VAT.
