Norway – Environmental monitoring other than for construction – Norwegian nesting bird monitoring 2026-2030

The assignment shall contribute with data on stock development and spreading of nesting species in Norway, with particular focus on changes over time and geographical differences. The programme shall provide information on which species are in decline, stable or in growth, and whether changes in bird communities can indicate environmental changes in different nature types. The assignment involves field work, collection and processing of monitoring data, quality assurance, analysis and reporting of results. The data shall be usable for nature management, research and international reporting. Questions received during Christmas will be answered 5 at the earliest. January.
