Germany – Research and development services and related consultancy services – Project "GlobalPlatform/GPShell"

The contract covers the open source projects ‘GlobalPlatform Library’ and ‘GPShell’, two open source tools that together ensure the secure management of smart cards, SIM cards, health cards and payment cards. The research and development services to be provided under the contract include, among other things, the systematic analysis of common technical processes, authorisation processes, applications and data, as well as the development and implementation of more secure, modern and user-friendly processes, methods and applications in several milestones. These measures serve to sustainably improve the two open source components in the public interest, making them more robust and secure.
