Gas Networks Ireland (GNI) is seeking to establish a comprehensive Qualification System for Telecommunication Services. This system aims to ensure that all telecommunications providers and solutions engaged by GNI meet consistent standards of quality, reliability, security, and compliance. The Qualification System will underpin the procurement and management of telecommunications services required for the effective operation, maintenance, and development of GNI’s gas transmission and distribution network. Scope of Services The Qualification System will cover a wide range of telecommunications services, including but not limited to: • WAN technologies • ISP services • Innovation in the utility sector • Enterprise telephony (on-premise and cloud) • Mobile SIMS and network connectivity data SIMs • Video Conferencing services • Cloud hosting services • Managed connectivity and carrier diversity The service coverage will include the Republic of Ireland, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as well as the Isle of Man.
