Norway – Teeth – Teeth, jaws and face masks for the KaVo DPS jaw simulator G40

In accordance with the Norwegian Public Procurement Regulation (FOA) § 21-5, it is herby informed that the Institute of clinical dentistry at the University of Oslo intends to enter into a framework agreement for teeth, jaws and face masks for the KaVo DPS jaw simulator G40. The framework agreement will last for 2 years + 1 year + 1 year (4 years total), and the value is estimated to amount to 1,2 MNOK exclusive VAT. The maximum value is 1,7 MNOK exclusive VAT. From our knowledge of the market, only products from KaVo are compatible with our existing jaw simulators. The existing jaw simulators are in good shape and will not be replaced in the next four years. Our research of the marked through an RFI on TED shows us that there are no suppliers of universal products compatible with our existing jaw simulators. KaVo has confirmed that Dental Sør AS is the only supplier of products to the KaVo DPS jaw simulator G40 to Norway. As Dental Sør AS is the only supplier of KaVo consumables to Norway, the contract can be entered into without prior competition, cf. FOA § 13-4 letter b. The waiting period is 10 days from this announcement.
