Norway – Church construction work – External liming Selbu Church

Selbu Municipality plans to enter into a contract with Rosenborg Masonry AS for exterior repairs and subsequent limewashing of the walls of Selbu Church. The church is a medieval church from around 1150, built of stone. The church tower was renovated in 2025, and now the rest of the church is due for work. Carrying out maintenance measures of this type of building requires specialized expertise, experience, and knowledge, and there are few actors in the market. Rosenborg Masonry AS has previously carried out several maintenance measures on the church's masonry structures, most recently limewashing the tower in 2025. The client wishes to continue the collaboration with the company to ensure consistent execution and the same quality on all of the church's facades. The deadline for comments on the announcement is set to 22 December 2025.
