Norway – Primary education services – Assignment on follow-up and development of mapping samples in reading in Sami on the 1st and 3rd stages, national tests in reading in Sami 5th and 8th years.

The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training announces the assignment of maintenance and follow-up the mapping tests in reading in Sami for the primary and secondary schools 1st and 3rd stages, including any changes to the mapping tests, cf. assignment 2025-18 in reading in Sami for the 5th and 8th stages. The 8th grade test will also be carried out in the 9th grade. The samples shall be offered in northern, south and Lule Sami. The Ministry of Education and Research has given Udir the task of developing new mapping tests with learning support purposes and new flexible tools for beginner training. The Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training shall offer national tests and mapping tests parallel to the Directorate reviewing new learning support tests.
