The BIOBIOWA project, supported by the Italia–Malta Programme, focuses on transforming agricultural waste into biochar and nanobiochar using environmentally sustainable methods. These carbon-rich materials are being developed for applications across the pharmaceutical and agricultural sectors. The University of Malta leads the effort to optimise production and activation parameters, ensuring the resulting biochar products possess tailored chemical properties suited to their intended uses. To support the project's outreach and stakeholder engagement, we are seeking a Communications Officer to manage external communications, promote project visibility, and facilitate knowledge dissemination.
