Malta – Data transmission services – CT3048/2023 Competitive Dialogue: PQQ For the Design, Implementation, Commissioning and Maintenance of a Fisheries Information Integrated System– Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture

The project aims to Design, Implement, Commission, and Maintain a Fisheries Integrated Information System (FIIS) for the Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture (DFA), Malta. The new system will integrate the department’s nine core fisheries information processing systems, namely: • The Fishing Vessel Registry (FVR); • The Vessel Monitoring System (VMS); • The GPRS system; • The E-log book; • Fisheries Inspectorate Reports; The FIIS will be future-proof, allowing for upgrades and new modules to be added on according to the exigencies of the Department. The DFA is looking at engaging a contractor to develop, implement, commission and maintain the FIIS for a period of at minimum 5 years, with a possibility to extend for a further period of 2 years.
