Norway – Laboratory, optical and precision equipments (excl. glasses) – Laboratory freezers for the health companies in Helse Sør-Øst and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health - Part 2.

This is a new notice after sub-contract 3-80 degree freezer and sub-contract 4-150 degree freezer in the previous competition were cancelled. The objective of the procurement is to cover the need for ultra low temperature freeze boxes (-80 °C and -150 °C) with a two-stage cooling system, so-called cascade system (one cooling system) etc. The freezer boxes will primarily be ordered by Oslo University Hospital and the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, but other hospitals in HSØ can also make call-offs on the framework agreement as needed. Approx. 170 freezer boxes are estimated for 4 years. This is a rough estimate, as it is difficult to estimate exactly how many freezers are needed during the agreement period. Orders of freezers vary a lot from year to year, as the age of the existing freezers at the health trusts and the Institute of Public Health ranges from brand new to over 10 years old. The stated scope is only meant as information to the tenderer and is not binding for a future contract volume. The number of freezers stated in the Price Form will only be used for evaluation. The maximum extent of the procurement is set to 200 freezes in four years.
