Ireland – Satellite circuit rental services – Defence Forces Operational Satellite Framework

1.1 The Defence Forces (the “Contracting Authority”) is seeking Expressions of Interest (“EOI”) from economic operators (“Candidates”) through this Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) with a view to establishing a goods contract(s) to meet the requirements of the Defence Forces for the supply of the following goods and services. There are two (4) distinct areas, under these requirements: 1.1.1 LOT 1 - Provision of an Operational Space Segment, Ku Band hosted and maintained on a designated candidate’s site and on a current Defence Forces deployed location with an internet endpoint terminating in McKee Barracks, Dublin, Ireland. (no physical satellite equipment on site in McKee Barracks only) 1.1.2 LOT 2 - Provision of portable satellite hardware, services, maintenance and training. (BGAN, Iridium, Thuraya or equivalent) 1.1.3 LOT 3 - Provision of LEO services including training, maintenance and support. 1.1.4 LOT 4 - Provision of maintenance and support of the in-service personal location tracking equipment: *NORTAC defence product suite. * Globalstar Spot Gen product suite.
