Ireland – Engineering design services for the construction of civil engineering works – Qualification System for Onshore Solar Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Contracts in the Republic of Ireland

The Contracting Entity wishes to establish a qualification system with a pool of qualified parties (i.e. the Qualified Applicants) that can be invited to specific Competitions under the Qualification System in relation to the procurement and execution of such works. Scope of works under a Contract may include (without limitation) the civil, electrical, and mechanical design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the solar farm which will connect to the Project’s substation (which will be designed and constructed by another party under a separate electrical works contract outside the scope of this Qualification System). The scope includes the design, supply, delivery, installation, commissioning and testing of all mechanical, electrical, SCADA and solar equipment for the solar farm (excluding the Project’s substation) which may or may not include the PV modules.
