Switzerland – Miscellaneous services – Thematic Support Second Swiss Contribution to EU Member States in the Area of Public Safety and Security for the period 01.04.2026 to 30.06.2029 in Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary

This mandate is part of the second Swiss contribution to selected EU member states. The overall goal of the contribution is to contribute to reducing economic and social disparities within and between EU countries. The thematic focus of the current mandate is public safety and security- one of the priority themes of the second Swiss contribution. Bulgaria, Hungary and Romania are implementing programmes in this area. The respective programmes amount to a total budget of 45 million CHF. The implementation is primarily carried out by the partner countries with the support and guidance of Switzerland. The current mandate shall technically support the implementation of the programmes and respective stakeholders.
