Netherlands – Software package and information systems – Research Information System (RIS) for Radboud University

As a scientific institution, it is very important for Radboud University and Radboudumc to be well informed about the input, output and impact of the scientific research conducted within the institution. This information about the research is collected in the RIS and serves as the basis for the institutions' research accountability. Radboud University and Radboudumc use an application developed by Radboud University itself for this purpose; Metis. It was investigated whether the current RIS (Metis) is suitable as a future RIS of Radboud University and Radboudumc. The need for information has changed, partly due to strategic goals of Radboud University (RDM policy, Open Science, Recognition and Rewards). It is recommended to replace the RIS.
