Ireland – Construction work – Prior Information Notice (PIN) to notify the market of upcoming Dublin City Council tender competition for the Redevelopment of Dalymount Park

This Prior Information Notice is to alert the market that Dublin City Council intends to run a procurement competition to appoint a suitable contractor for the redevelopment of Dalymount Park. The Scope of Works may include but is not limited to the following: • The demolition of the existing stadium and structures located on the site; • The development of a new c.8,034 capacity stadium with provision for c. 6,240 seats and c.1,794 standing and new modern floodlighting and associated facilities; • Reorientation of the pitch to a North/South Axis (105m x 68m) and installation of a new sand-based grass pitch; • The provision of modern match-day facilities for teams and officials; • Club offices & a merchandise shop • The provision of a stadium bar/function room and concession areas within the stadium; • The provision of 12 car parking spaces and 50 bicycle spaces within the site; • A community facility with an area of 585 sq.m over two floors to include a multi-functional community room and a community gym; • The provision of a public plaza and public thoroughfare along the eastern boundary connecting North Circular Road and Connaught Street to include various eateries; and All associated plant, substation, waste storage, landscaping, boundary treatment, lighting and all ancillary site works to facilitate the proposed development . Please note that this is not a call for competition and no tender documents are available at this stage. Also the process will not be utilised in order to preclude participation in any future competition to be conducted by Dublin City Council.
