Denmark – Wind-energy generators – Call for expression of interest regarding a possible expansion and adaptation of Test Centre Østerild for taller wind turbines

The Technical University of Denmark (Danmarks Tekniske Universitet) (DTU) and the Danish Agency for Planning and Rural Development (Plan- og Landdistriktsstyrelsen) are currently preparing an environmental and habitat impact assessment for a potential expansion and adaptation of Test Centre Østerild, which will provide the opportunity to test prototype wind turbines up to 450 metres tall and testing of electrolysis plants in relation to the wind turbines. In this connection, DTU hereby invites relevant businesses to express their interest in owning or renting one or more of the potential new/adapted test sites at Test Centre Østerild.
