Ireland – Parts, accessories and supplies for computers – Provision of the Supply, Delivery, and Installation of a Scanning Electron Microscope to DCU

Tenders are sought for the supply of equipment to be located in the Core Technologies Unit as an open access instrument. The Key features of the instrument are Field Emission Gun with a low landing voltage and in-lens detectors. Material analysis is the main thrust of the instrument, so we are interested in Energy Dispersive X-Ray Spectroscopy (EDS) and Electron Backscatter Diffraction (EBDS) detectors. DCU would also be looking to expand the capabilities of the instrument over time, so modularity would be an advantage, as we would charge neutralisation features such as various chamber pressure. We are looking to include service contracts as part of the package.
