Norway – Lawnmowers – Intention notice - Procurement of Agria 9700e

Trondheim municipality intends to enter into a contract with Midt-Norge Maskinsenter AS for the procurement of an electrically remote controlled tracked tool carrier that, among other things, shall be used for buch crushing and psture cleaning. This is called in English a mulcher or flail mulcher. The machine shall replace a fossil driven slope mower, but at the same time it can be used as a tool carrier with compact tractor equipment for other assignments. The contracting authority has searched the market widely and believes that there are no other dealers of an equivalent machine with a local service apparatus connected to mid-Norway/Trondheim. Local service apparatus is an absolute requirement. The contracting authority believes that the terms in the Norwegian Public Procurement Act § 13-4 b point 2 are fulfilled by this being a sole supplier situation. The contracting authority intends to enter into a contract with Midt-Norway Maskinsenter AS after 10 days at the earliest after this notice, for the procurement of an Agria 9700e electrically remote controlled grazing brushes/tool carrier that is belt-bound and that fulfils the requirements for battery capacity and work capacity on steep slopes of 45 degrees or more.
