Norway – Miscellaneous health services – Procurement of neurology, gastro and cardiology services.

In accordance with the Specialist Health Services Act §2-1 a, Helse Vest shall ensure that patients resilende in the Western Health Region are offered specialist health services. These services are provided partly through separate health companies and partly through contracts with private providers of specialist health services. Helse Vest RHF would like to enter into a contract for first-consultations in neurology, as well as delivery of colonoscopy and echocardiography from one or several private tenderers. Helse Vest RHF undertakes this procurement primarily to relieve Helse Fonna HF and reduce the accumulated waiting times in the health authorities. The enquiry is therefore primarily for patients resilring in the whole region west. The service shall be provided in Bergen, Stavanger or Haugesund.
