Norway – Health services – Purchase of surgical services within the ear-nose-throat subject for Helse Vest

In accordance with the Specialist Health Services Act §2-1 a, Helse Vest shall ensure that patients resilende in the Western Health Region are offered specialist health services. These services are provided partly through separate health companies and partly through contracts with private providers of specialist health services. Helse Vest RHF would like to enter into a contract for operative treatment of tonsils, septum plastic and conchotomics from a private tenderer. Helse Vest RHF undertakes this procurement primarily to relieve Helse Bergen HF and Helse Førde HF and reduce the waiting times in the health authorities. The enquiry is therefore primarily for patients resilring in the whole region west. The service shall be carried out in Helse Bergen ́s admission area.
