Germany – Geotechnical engineering services – Framework Agreement on Geotechnical Seabed Surveys for Export Cables

50Hertz and Elia tender a framework agreement on geotechnical investigations for export cable routes. 50Hertz, as part of the Elia Group, foresees the construction of several offshore high-voltage DC and AC stations (HVDC and HVAC), including the installation of the export cables in the North Sea and Baltic Sea. For this purpose, geotechnical investigations for the export cable route shall be performed to acquire all necessary information for the conceptual and detailed design phases. The geotechnical specifications will be used in several projects (e.g. LanWin6, as well as other OWF (offshore wind farm) clusters in the North Sea and future OWF areas in the Baltic Sea in addition to the existing windfarm areas). Quantities given in the tender documents are for the purpose of comparison and calculation. They do not constitue a guarantee.
