St. James’s Hospital Board hereby notifies its intention to engage in direct negotiations with Biomerieux UK Ltd in order to increase capacity for the existing Biofire module currently in use for the rapid identification of pathogens in CSF to include additional 4 modules which will allow the system provide the same rapid diagnostics for positive blood cultures. with a view to entering into a contract agreement upon completion of commercial negotiations.
