North Macedonia – Construction-site supervision services – Project Implementation Support and Safeguard Services, for the major project “Construction of new railway section from Kriva Palanka to the border with Republic of Bulgaria”

The objectives of this contract is to provide consulting services to The Client related but not limited to: • management and administration of the works/supplies/services Contracts with particular reference to the Client’s obligations defined in the Project’s Financing documents (such as Loan and Project Agreements, etc.) are well catered for;• daily management of the Project under all its stages and in particular procurement, pre-construction, claims management, liaison with designers, supervising engineers, Contractor(s) and responsible representatives of the Client, risk management, advising on specific technical issues; • cooperation with the Banks and other financing entities; • obligations and duties of the Client (for the various contracts) under the terms of PRAG conditions of contracts applicable for works and services contracts; • oversight and ensuring implementation of the Project in accordance with national environmental and social laws/procedures as well as those of the EIB and EBRD – collectively hereafter the “Safeguard Provisions”; and • putting in place the operating and maintenance arrangements for the Project.
