Germany – Research and development services and related consultancy services – Project "ORT/EEF"

This project focuses on the open source components OSS Review Toolkit ("ORT"), which is used for the automated identification and documentation of software dependencies („SBOMs“) for internal compliance checks, as well as the programming languages Erlang and Elixir and their infrastructure, which are grouped together as part of the Erlang Ecosystem Foundation („EEF“). Within the scope of the project, interfaces are to be developed for "ORT" in particular that enable the interoperability of external systems, thereby increasing both the usability and user-friendliness of "ORT" across sectors. In addition, the integration of technologies from the "EEF" into "ORT" is to be expanded in order to secure further critical infrastructure. Against this background, the project as a whole serves to promote the security, transparency, and stability of open digital infrastructures in the public interest in the long term.
