Procurement of Immunhistochemistry machine - Pathology Department, HSE review of needs and markets, it is our perception that only one relevant supplier can cover the need. We are therefore choosing to make the procurement through an intention notice. Description of needs: The current machines are old and HMR needs to replace them. One machine has a lot of problem with, with repeated expensive repairs. There are 170 different analyses on these machines. Moving many analyses onto a new system is very resource intensive. It is a considerable financial cost. It takes a long time to determine whether an analysis is adequate for another system. We need personnel for such great quality work, and you don't. Based on this, a change of system will not be desirable and HMR intends to procure 1 BenchMark ULTRA PLUS from Roche Diagnostics Norway AS The terms for direct procurement in accordance with the procurement regulations § 13-4 first section letter C are considered fulfilled.
