Denmark – Scuba and snorkelling gear – Aquisition of open circuit scuba diver sets for the Royal Danish Navy

DALO is acquiring new Open Circuit SCUBA diver sets for use in the Royal Danish Navy. The Naval Divers are currently using the Divator from Interspiro, which is at the end of its lifespan. DALO is therefore looking for a similar and updated version that meets the oper-ational demands. The SCUBA-set is expected to include the following: • Cylinders • Compensation Weight • Buoyancy control device • Harness • Full face mask and/or mouthpiece • 1st stage with hoses • Wired communication • Optional Dive Computer supporting ZHL16 Furthermore it is a requirement that the equipment can be delivered in a lightweight sur-face supplied version. DALO is looking to acquire around 350 sets total. DALO is looking to acquire Spare Parts to maintain the equipment. DALO is looking to acquire the possibility to get the equipment maintained by the Suppli-er. The equipment shall be designed for the various operations that the Navy Divers do, such as: • Evidence gathering in harsh and dirty conditions, such as bogs and sewers. • Ammunition clearance • Clearance and inspection operations in harbors • Search and Rescue operations • Various tasks with heavy workload It is important that the equipment is as lightweight as possible on land, and that it has an easily detachable compensation weight on or around the cylinders, designed in a way that doesn’t interfere with their trim when diving. This compensation weight is not to be con-fused with weight pockets.
