Tender Description
This is a Prior Information Notice (PIN) in relation to establishing a framework of contractors to install energy-efficiency measures under SEAI’s Energy Poverty Programme nationwide. This programme provides energy-efficiency improvements in homes of those in receipt of certain social welfare payments, making their homes more comfortable, healthier and cost effective to run. The suite of energy upgrades available for recommendation under the Scheme include attic, internal, cavity and external wall insulation, window replacements and heating systems where suitable, including heat pump and renewable technologies. The estimated total contract budget is approximately €1,216,000,000 excluding VAT over the entire contract term which will be for a maximum of four years. The estimated budget for the contract will be subject to the annual government estimates and budgetary process in each of the years in question, which are subject to change. SEAI will be holding online workshops in relation to this tender via MS Teams in advance of the publication of the Tender Competition. The workshops will present the types of services SEAI plans to tender for and answer any questions.
