Netherlands – Foreign economic-aid-related services – Improved mango processing capacity in Chad

The objective of this project is to professionalise mango processing companies in Chad. These processing companies play a key role in decreasing loss of huge volumes of mangoes, better valorise mango production and create sustainable and decent jobs. By better valorising the mango production, the mango processing units can contribute to regional sustainable economic development and creation of employment, including job opportunities for youth and women specifically. The maximum available budget for this assignment is € 137,958 including 0% Dutch VAT, local foreign VAT and all other fees and costs. In view of the nature of this assignment involving development cooperation exclusively for the benefit of a developing country, a rate of 0% Dutch VAT will apply if the contractor is established in the Netherlands and his organization can be regarded as an entrepreneur for VAT purposes.
