Two (2) identical high capacity automation systems for the extraction of different nucleic acids shall be procured for the Department of Medical Genetics at Oslo University Hospital. The systems shall preferably be used for DNA extraction, mainly from whole blood, but shall be flexible for carrying out DNA extraction from other materials if possible, as well as RNA extraction.
