Ingierstrand restaurant is a building with high architectural and cultural historical value. Built in funkis style, Ingierstrand restaurant is award-winning and internationally known as one of the foremost examples of Norwegian functionalist architecture. The facility was protected by the Directorate of Cultural Heritage in 2012. Ingierstrand restaurant has been leased from 2013 and returned in spring 2025. Maintenance work will be ongoing in summer/autumn 2025, as well as connecting to the public water and sewage network, with the accompanying upgrading of the property ́s water and sewage installations. The building will be ready for operation summer 2026.
