Luxembourg – Damage or loss insurance services – CFT-1812 Decennial Liability Insurance for the EIB New Building in Luxembourg

The scope of this Call for Tenders is the insurance services for the EIB new office building on the campus of the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg. This is a two-step competitive procedure with negotiation. The required insurance is a Decennial (RCD) Insurance for a total estimated period of 120 months. The Insured Amount is set as EUR 217 490 000 and may be subject to review during the Contract in accordance with the draft Policy. The insurance services are required for a building with 3 underground levels and 5 above ground levels, along with a 16-storey tower. The building is designed to accommodate up to 1,500 workstations with a constructed surface of 63,680 m2. The Decennial (RCD) insurance contract is intended to be awarded as a single contract with multiple insurers covering portions of the contract. This tender is divided into 2 lots: Lot 1 – Lead insurer (minimum capacity is 15 %); Lot 2 – Co-insurers (minimum capacity is 2.5 %).
