Finland – Gas generators – AEM electrolyser stack

The goal is to acquire an anion exchange membrane (AEM) short stack (5–10 kW scale) suitable for integration with a custom balance of plant (BoP) system developed in-house. The system will be used to conduct research on operational parameters such as efficiency, durability, and control strategies, as well as to develop intellectual property related to advanced BoP configurations. The design work for the BoP will begin at the start of 2026. The AEM electrolyser stack should be procured and delivered by mid-2026, ensuring it is available for integration and testing as soon as the BoP design is complete. Required specifications are described in Annex 1 Requirements relating to the equipment.
