Germany – Banking services – Digital euro - Secure Exchange of Payment Information

The digital euro high-level product description foresees the establishment of a secure exchange of payment information (SEPI) component as part of the digital euro generic payment workflow shall support tokenisation and detokenisation of transactional information (e.g. the amount of a transaction) and/or reference sensitive information (e.g. the payment instrument used) on an intermediary’s request.
