The contracting authority invites tenderers to a competition for the establishment, operation and maintenance of 24 hour resting places for heavy transport along the E18 on the stretch Bommestad-Langangen. The driving distance from the E18 to the entrance for the actual 24 hour resting place shall be a maximum of 1.5 km. Driving distance is to be measured from the end of the exit ramp from the E18. The 24 hour resting place shall contain sanitary installations with toilets and showers and it shall have 30-50 parking places. Otherwise, the 24 hour resting place shall fulfil the shall-requirements listed in point 3.1. The 24 hour resting place shall be ready for opening by 31.03.2026 at the latest and applies for 10 years from the opening hours. The contracting authority has the option to extend the contract for 1+1 year, so that the total possible lease period is 12 years.
