Ireland – Civil engineering consultancy services – Monaghan County Council wishes to tender for Architect Led Design Team Services the repurposing and renovation of 2no. vacant protected properties and the public realm within the St. Louis Convent

MCC are procuring an Architect Led Design Team to deliver design teams services through stages (i) to (v) of the Capital Works Management Framework, which will see the repurposing and renovation of 2no. vacant protected properties and the public realm within the St. Louis Convent Campus in Monaghan Town. The end use is yet to be defined. This is subject to the outcome of a public consultation process which will be ongoing over the next couple of months. The final recommendations are expected in September 2024, which it is hoped will coincide with an appointment under this commission. The current zoning under the Monaghan County Council Development Plan 2020-2025 dictates that the building will be renovated for Community Services / Facilities. Monaghan County Council’s end goal is to transform this publicly-owned campus and the vacant heritage buildings within it, through renovation, renewal, and adaptive reuse.
