Germany – Research and development services and related consultancy services – Project "LLVM/Ruby"

"LLVM" is a compiler infrastructure that enables the compilation of various programming languages. "Ruby" is a programming language that supports numerous important web infrastructures and websites. As part of this project, comprehensive security testing functions for both technologies will be researched and implemented. New tests for software compiled with LLVM will be developed and the existing test framework will be expanded. For Ruby, the automatic software testing (‘fuzzing’) framework called Ruzzy will be systematically integrated into the OSS-Fuzz tool. These measures will contribute in the long term and sustainably to the early detection of software vulnerabilities, which will increase the overall security, stability and reliability of digital infrastructures in the general interest.
