Ireland – Construction work – Prior Information Notice - Provision of Design and Build Services for a Residential Development of 62 no. units at Farrannamartin, Galway Road, Tuam, Co. Galway.

Please note this is not a contract notice. It is the Authority's intention to engage with potential service providers from the industry to understand market structure and capacity issues for providing Design and Build Services for a Residential Development of 62 no. units at Farrannamartin, Galway Road, Tuam, Co. Galway. The proposed development consists of the construction of 62 no. residential units with 24 no. two-storey dwellings, 12 no. single-storey units and 26 no. apartments to provide 11 no. 1-bed units, 26 no. 2-bed units, 23 no. 3-bed units and 2 no. 4-bed units. Proposed site works include provision of an electric substation, 3 no. bicycle shelters and ancillary parking, a playground, landscaping and boundary wall construction. It is proposed to provide an access connection to the site via the adjacent Galway Road, Tuam (R939) together with all service connections, ancillary siteworks and services. Design and Build services will be required from post planning stage (Stage 3) to completion and handover (Stage 5). This prior information notice has been published with the intention of engaging with service providers to identify potential issues associated with the design, site, procurement route, etc. to better inform the contract notice when published. The Authority invites engagement from service providers to make observations/comments on the proposed design and overall development proposals to allow for issue of a comprehensive contract notice in due course.
