Ireland – Survey services – Habitat Mapping and Habitat Condition Assessments of the Blasket Islands, Skellig Islands and Puffin Island

The NPWS now wish to commission (1) Habitat Mapping and (2) a Habitat Condition Assessment of lands occurring within and adjacent to Páirc Náisiúnta na Mara, Ciarraí across the Blasket Island archipelago, Skellig Islands and Puffin Island. This is (i) to both update and improve our understanding of the occurrence and distribution of habitats found here, (ii) to establish appropriate habitat condition monitoring plots to augment any habitat and condition data deficiencies; (iii) develop site-specific management measures and so better inform on habitat condition trends and responses to any future management actions.
