France – Spacecraft, satellites and launch vehicles – Identify the possible spacecraft bus compatible with a microwave radiometer developed in the frame of the C²OMODO mission
Tender Description
The purpose of this Request For Information (RFI) is to identify the possible spacecraft bus compatible with a microwave radiometer developed in the frame of the C²OMODO mission. This document describes C²OMODO mission and provides technical information on C²OMODO Radiometer (C²OMODOR), which is the payload to be embarked. This Request For Information includes: - Spacecraft bus procurement The spacecraft bus proposed by the supplier shall be compatible with the mission definition and C²OMODOR as described hereafter. - Integration and Test of C²OMODO-Sat The SC bus supplier shall integrate C²OMODOR and test the satellite as required for space missions (including electrical, functional, EMC, mechanical and thermal tests) - C²OMODO-Sat operational management The C²OMODO-Sat operational management shall be ensured throughout its lifetime and based on appropriate satellite control center and ground stations network. The ground stations network shall ensure TMTC (Telemetries and Telecommands) exchanges with the satellite, as well as the science data reception (from C²OMODOR), but the science data processing is not part of this RFI. Note that if the supplier cannot ensure the satellite operational management (including ground stations booking as well as operations and flight dynamics activities), CNES could also envisage as an alternative to be responsible for these activities using CNES facilities, if compatible with the proposed spacecraft. Note that the launch of C²OMODO-Sat is not part of this RFI. The documents (the RFI + the Compliance Matrix (Excel file) to be filled out + the Simplified CAD) are available for download on the website www.marches.cnes.fr . Candidates are invited to complete and submit them on the same platform before the response deadline. This RFI must not be considered as a procurement procedure and is therefore not intended in any way to lead to an award of contract, nor represents a firm commitment from CNES to carry out the project. The provision of information by proposers under this RFI does not confer any special rights on them, particularly if a request for proposal is subsequently launched by CNES. Proposers who respond to this RFI are not entitled to any compensation or remuneration. The answers provided in the framework of this RFI will not constitute contractual or pre-contractual commitments for their authors. Responses must be submitted no later than 2025, October 16th at noon, on the CNES electronic platform at the following address: https://marches.cnes.fr Questions related to the proper understanding of the RFI must be addressed, no later than 10 working days before the closing date, via the CNES buyer profile. They should refer to the relevant points in the file. CNES points of contact: - Sophie Mosny, sophie.mosny@cnes.fr - Thierry Amiot, thierry.amiot@cnes.fr
