Germany – Research and development services and related consultancy services – Project "OpenPrinting"

"OpenPrinting“ is an open source project that develops and provides open and freely available software components for printer systems. As such, it contributes to the protection of sensitive data, promotes long-term system independence and gives users better control over their printing systems and processes. Within the scope of this project, new printing standards are to be systematically reviewed, the effects of changes in operating systems on printing workflows analysed, and the findings transferred into concrete developments and prototypes in order to continuously and sustainably further develop "OpenPrinting“ in the public interest.
