Norway – Snow-clearing services – Intention notice - Winter maintenance of roads

Sandnes municipality (the contracting authority) would like, via this intention notice, to inform the market that it intends to enter into a contract for winter maintenance of roads (snow clearing) on the following routes in Sandnes kommune: 1. Søredalen and Veraland 2. Hen and outer areas 3. Riska The contract will be signed by a procurement without a competition, c.f. the Public Procurement Regulations § 21-5. The intention notice is that the contracting authority would like to be transparent and give the market the possibility to object to the above mentioned contract signing. If the contracting authority does not receive objections by 29.09.2025, a contract will be signed. After previous unsuccessful competitions, the contracting authority deems it so that only the chosen tenderer can provide the service. The chosen tenderers are considered to be the only tenderers who can meet the contracting authority ́s needs. The contracting authority will depend on winter maintenance as soon as the snow is in place and therefore sees that it is most beneficial that the work is carried out by some local. The routes in question are difficult to reach if you don't have a local base. Note that the contracting authority has the possibility to enter into other agreements on winter maintenance of roads, but that there are other areas that apply.
